Innovative design requires innovative materials
Relentlessly Crafted
Engineered to outperform and outlast traditional leather, Clarino™ is engrained with the same dedication to excellence and is forged in the Japanese tradition of craftsmanship and artistry.
biomimicry in the construction of the Clarino™ base cloth replicates the cell like structure found in animal leather.
This gives Clarino™ microfiber a premium leather-like hand feel, durability, stretch and recovery. This highly evolved microfiber allows for advanced engineering to maximize the physical properties of the material to outperform standard leather.
Experience the evolution for yourself!
Islands in the Sea
More than just a beautiful finish, Clarino™ microfiber is intelligently engineered using what is commonly referred to as the “Islands-in-the-Sea” process.
Starting with a multi-component fiber; the “sea” portion of the multi-component fiber is removed and the “islands” remain surrounded by polyurethane.
Put simply, we have replicated the natural collagen fiber structure of a leather hide.
Beauty isn’t skin deep - it’s what’s inside that counts!
Go with the right material the first time.
Development and production cycles are getting faster. Manufacturing processes are being modernized. Shoe designs are becoming more technical.
Clarino™ Microfiber can mean more productive sampling, consistent results and better performing shoes.
